Justice At Last! UK Court Sentences Ekweremadu
Nigerian politician in the eye of the storm, Senator Ike Ekweremadu is today in court for the verdict over his trail for organ harvesting. Ekweremadu, 60 was brought to court today looking very sober while the judgment commences. The politician faces up to 20 years or life imprisonment if found guilty of the charge. The Nigerian Senate had earlier reached out to the UK government to temper justice over the case involving the former deputy Senate President. Nigerians are also apprehensive, wanting to know what would become of the case that started some months ago. Ekweremadu was jailed 9 years, wife bagged 6 years while the doctor was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment.
